Condensed from Bambu Lab's print-quality wiki. Four of these Buildable can actually catch before you slice; overhangs fix automatically with a reorient or chamfer, while bridging, thin walls, and tip-over need a structural addition, so those only fix when you enable "Allow structural additions" in Auto-fix. The rest come from your slicer, printer, or filament, so we can only flag you're headed toward one.

Buildable checks and auto-fixes these

Overhangs✓ Auto-fixed

A steep unsupported face has nothing beneath each new layer to bond to, so it droops or sags as it prints. Buildable flags any face past your overhang-angle threshold, highlighted amber. Fixed with one-click reorientation, or a chamfer to cut the stress concentration where reorienting alone can't clear it.

BridgingOpt-in fix

A flat span with no support underneath it sags mid-air or snaps as the nozzle tries to print straight across the gap. Buildable flags any span longer than about 8mm, highlighted violet. It can weld a thin support pillar from the build plate up to the span, but only when you enable "Allow structural additions" in Auto-fix, since that adds new material Buildable itself chooses the shape of.

Thin wallsOpt-in fix

A wall thinner than your nozzle's two-perimeter minimum comes out fused into a single weak line, or gets skipped by the slicer entirely. Buildable flags anything under your minimum, highlighted pink. It can thicken the local patch, but only with "Allow structural additions" enabled, the same opt-in as bridging and tip-over.

Tip-over / poor bed contactOpt-in fix

A tall model on a small footprint has less bed adhesion holding it down, and a higher center of gravity for the print head or cooling fans to knock loose. Buildable warns past roughly a 4:1 height-to-footprint ratio. It can weld a brace down to the base with "Allow structural additions" enabled; by default it only flags the risk.

Print-process issues to watch for

First layer not stickingSlicer / printer

Usually bed leveling, temperature, or a dirty plate. Enable a brim, re-level the bed, and make sure the "plate type" selected in your slicer matches the plate you actually have installed.

Warping or lifting cornersSlicer / printer

Shrinkage as the print cools pulls its corners off the plate, worse on large flat bases, high infill, and high-shrink filaments like ABS, ASA, PC, and PA. Raise bed temperature, close any enclosure doors, and watch out for large, high-infill, flat-bottomed models.

Extruder or nozzle clogsSlicer / printer

Filament jams from excess chamber heat softening it in the gears, or debris building up inside the nozzle over time. Keep chamber temperature in range for your filament and clean the nozzle periodically, especially after abrasive (carbon/glass-filled) filaments.

Stringing, oozing & nozzle stickingSlicer / printer

Damp filament, too-high nozzle temperature, or under-tuned retraction lets melted plastic ooze out and trail between parts of the print. Dry your filament before printing, and tune retraction distance/speed in your slicer.

Under-extrusionSlicer / printer

Not enough filament reaching the nozzle: a partial clog, bad flow-rate calibration, or filament that can't melt fast enough at your chosen speed. Run a flow-rate calibration and reduce print speed for filaments prone to this.

Gloss/pattern inconsistenciesSlicer / printer

Uneven sheen, "belt pattern" banding, or top-layer gaps mostly come from speed or temperature changing mid-print, or mechanical resonance from the belts. Keep outer-wall speed consistent and double-check flow-rate calibration.

Interlayer crackingSlicer / material

Weak bonding between layers from printing too fast or too cold, or from excessive cooling. Common on ABS, ASA, PC, and carbon-fiber-filled filaments. The Materials tab flags heat-resistant, high-shrink materials so you go in expecting to tune cooling and speed.

SeamsSlicer

A normal artifact where each layer's outline starts and stops, more visible on smooth, curved surfaces. Try more wall loops, or "Spiral vase" mode in your slicer for simple, single-wall parts.
