What Buildable's results are, and aren't.

Engineering judgement, with the assumptions in view

Buildable is designed to help catch manufacturability risks early. It does not replace supplier-specific process knowledge, physical testing, or final engineering validation. Every result is labeled as deterministic geometry (measured directly from your model), rule-based (compared against your configured manufacturing thresholds), heuristic (a useful engineering approximation that may depend on process and machine), or something that requires further validation. Treat results accordingly, especially anything flagged as heuristic or validation-required.

No guarantee of manufacturability

Passing Buildable's checks does not guarantee a part can be manufactured successfully, and flagged issues do not guarantee failure if left unaddressed. Final manufacturability depends on your specific supplier, machine, material lot, and process controls, which Buildable cannot observe.

Automatic fixes

Automatic geometry fixes modify a working copy of your model and are always previewable before being applied. Buildable does not overwrite your original uploaded file. You are responsible for reviewing any applied fix before using the resulting file for production.

Free tier and paid services

Buildable is free during early access and may change as new capabilities ship. No account or payment is required to use the current tool.
